Compras: Mel de Manuka/ Shopping: Manuka Honey

Ainda das compras feita em Inglaterra. Encontrei por lá este mel que nunca tinha visto. Pesquisei e não é que tem propriedades que os outros não tem?!

Este mel é única e exclusivamente produzido na Nova Zelândia e tem a sua origem na flor de Manuka. É esta flor que vai dar propriedades únicas ao mel. Este quando utilizado localmente pode beneficiar o tratamento de infecções da pele, cortes, queimaduras, picadas de insectos, entre outros. Quando utilizado via oral ajuda no combate à dor de garganta, úlceras, gastrites e amigdalites.

Confesso que não quero mais nada, logo que me dói a garganta como uma colher e passa logo. Só é pena o preço, um pouco elevado, mas vale a pena investir num frasco de vez em quando (se passarem por Inglaterra aproveitem para passar na Holland & Barret que é mais acessível [lembrem-se de me dizer alguma coisa que aproveito a boleia]).

Found this honey that I have never seen before. I researched and I have concluded that it has properties that others do not have.

This honey is unique and exclusively produced in New Zealand and it has is origin in the flower of Manuka. It is this flower that will give the unique properties to the honey.

When used locally it can benefit the treatment of skin infections, cuts, burns, insect bites, amog others. When used orally it helps treating the soar throats, ulcers, gastritis and tonsillitis.

I confess that i don't want anything else, everytime my throat hurts I eat a spoon full of honey and off it goes. It´s a shame the price, bit high, but it's worth investing in a jar from time to time (if you stop in England go to Holland & Barret where is more affordable [remeber to tell me something and I will take advantage of the "ride"])
